Road Work Causing Delays in Southington

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A road repair project on Main Street (Route 10), at the intersection of Old Turnpike Road, is causing detours in Southington on Friday.

The following intersections will have detours in place, police said:

• Main Street at Meriden Avenue
• Main Street at Chestnut Street
• Main Street at Bristol Street (local traffic only)
• Old Turnpike Road Carter Lane (local traffic only)
• Old Turnpike Road at Southington Avenue.

The road work is scheduled to be completed by 4:00 p.m., police said. Motorists in the area can expect traffic delays until then, police said.
