Serious Wreck Cleared In Southington: UPDATE
One lane of the highway was closed as crews tended to the scene.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — Traffic was a mess on Interstate 84 in Southington following a two-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it has since been cleared.
The DOT reports the crash happened on I-84 east between exits 28 and 30.
As a result of the accident, the left lane was closed, according to the state.

The DOT said the crash was first reported at 1:09 p.m., but it is no longer being shown on the DOT's incident list.
