Southington BOE Requests Budget Increase

The Board of Finance will now consider the request.

The Southington Board of Education is requesting a 3.59 percent budget increase.

Members argued that the raise request is due to contract obligations and other increasing costs, according to the Record-Journal.

Superintendent Tim Connellan said every budget request is worthy of the Board of Finance considering.
