Southington Cops' Celine Dion Cover Goes Viral

Southington police have been promising more activity on social media and it turned into a concert Tuesday night.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The Southington Police Department has been promising a bigger presence on social media, and in a Tuesday night virtual concert, officers delivered by singing in the rain ... not with Gene Kelly moves but with a cover of Celine Dion's cover of "It's All Coming Back To Me Now ..."

OK ... there is "some" dancing to go along with the lyrics.

"The Southington Police Department would like to expand our community outreach on social media. So tonight is our start. Expect greatness and tune in for more content along the way."

Greatness? Well it had more than 2,000 shares, 3,400 likes and more than 600 comments by 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Guess that means it's going viral.

The lead signer, er, officer is Officer Evan Olsson.

Backup singers and dancers are Sergeant Matthew Hammell, Officer Neal Ayotte and Officer Joe Richard.
