Southington Debates New RV Regulations

Residents spoke for nearly two hours during a Planning and Zoning meeting.

Southington residents spoke for nearly two hours during a Planning and Zoning Commission meeting about regulations for recreational vehicles.

RVs currently can only be stored in the rear yard, according to the Record-Journal. The new proposed regulations would allow them to be stored in the side and rear yard only, but with certain restrictions.

Planning and Zoning tabled a vote on the matter after taking in public comment. Some residents felt RV owners were being targeted.
