Southington High School Principal Heading to Plymouth Schools

Martin Semmel will leave the high school in a few weeks.

Southington High School Principal Martin Semmel will be leaving in a few weeks to head Plymouth Public Schools.

The Record-Journal reports that Semmel will leave on March 15.

His salary in Plymouth will be $175,000. He currently makes a little over $155,000 in Southington.

Semmel will actually be supervising a school district that has less students that Southington High School. There are about 500 more students at the high school than in all Plymouth schools.
