Southington Man Accused of Intentionally Damaging Vehicle
The 19-year-old is facing a mischief charge, police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT - A local man is facing a criminal mischief charge for allegedly driving to a local storage facility and damaging a vehicle, police said.
Southington Police announced the arrest of Corey Cyr, 19 on Monday.
Police said Cyr, of Southington, surrendered on April 6 after learning that a warrant had been issued for his arrest, police said. He posted a $10,000 bond and is due in court on April 18, police said.

The incident took place in March 22, police said.
The warrant alleges that Cyr and an acquaintance drove to a "storage garage" and while at the garage, Cyr intentionally damaged a 2009 Volkswagen there. The warrant further alleges that Cyr did so to in retaliation to damage inflicted on his acquaintance's vehicle, police said.

The estimate to repair the damage to the victim's vehicle was in excess of $2600, police said.
