"Home Town Story" is a drama about a failed smalltown politician who takes over a local newspaper to get himself elected.
When disaster strikes and his little sister is trapped in an abandoned mine, the protagonist is forced to change his tune as his sister is saved.
The movie stars a young Marilyn Monroe and Alan Hale Jr., who is best known as the "Skipper" on the classic 1960s "Gilligan's Island" TV show.
