Southington Resident Earns Sacred Heart Academy Scholarship
The scholarship is given to a select few incoming freshmen with the highest entrance exam scores and who demonstrate academic potential.
Southington native Swathi Jacob earned the Sacred Heart Academy’s Sister Antonine Signorelli ASCJ Memorial Scholarship.
Each year a group of freshmen with the highest entrance exam scores and who have outstanding academic potential are awarded the scholarship.
A total of 13 students got the scholarship this year.

The scholarship was established in 1993 in honor of the academy’s founding principal.
The Class of 2019 has students from 52 towns and 31 feeder schools.
