Southington Road Closed After Crash Into Utility Pole: Police
Crews are on the scene to clean up and repair the damaged pole.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Work is ongoing in Southington to reopen a roadway closed after a vehicle Friday morning slammed into a utility pole.
The Southington Police Department said the accident was on Summer Street between Knowles Avenue and West Center Street.
Police made the announcement at about 9 a.m. Friday and the road is still closed.

Eversource Energy crews were on the scene dodging raindrops and making repairs, police said.
"Once the road is reopened, we will update our post," wrote the SPD via social media.
