Southington Student Wins Award at Annual Connecticut Science Fair

J.F.K. Middle School student Matthew Maciejewski was honored for his project at the annual Science and Engineering Fair held at Quinnipiac University.

Matthew was awarded first place in the sustainable resources and practices category for middle school students. His project was “Pore” My Way to Cleaner Water.

He recieved $500 and a trophy for his accomplishment.

Eesmarts, an Energize CT program sponsored the special award categories of alternative/renewable energy for middle and high school students.
