Southington Woman Sues Town Over Icy Road Conditions
A resident claims a icy road conditions that weren't treated by the town led to an accident.
A Southington resident is suing the town and claiming at excessive icy conditions that the town didn’t treat led to a head-on collision.
Cindy Costello filed a notice of intent to sue with the town clerk’s office on March 20, according to NBC Connecticut.
The accident happened on Jan. 3 on Laning Street near Doral Lane.

She claims that she pulled over due to excessive icy conditions on the roadway that weren’t treated by the town and that an oncoming car slip over the center line and slammed head-on into her vehicle.
She suffered fractures to her leg and ribs along with other injuries.
