Three Southington Administrators Retiring at End of School Year
The three have more than 50 combined years with the school system.

Three longtime Southington school administrators will be retiring at the end of the school year.
Assistant Superintendent Karen Smith, Strong Elementary School Principal Linda Lackner and Hatton Elementary Principal Sally Kamerbeek will be retiring come June, according to the Record-Journal.

The three have more than 50 combined years with the school system.
Applications for the jobs will be open until April 20 and appointments are expected by May 20.

Southington Public Schools will also have to search for a replacement for Southington High School Principal Martin Semmel, who is leaving to head Plymouth Public Schools.
