Top 100 Connecticut Public High School Cafeterias: How Does Southington Rate?

Niche.com ranked the top high school cafeterias in the country and on a statewide level. Check out how your high school did.

There are many more important things to consider when examining the effectiveness of a school and the education it provides your children than the quality of the cafeteria and food being prepared for your children.

But, the little things can definitely contribute to how happy your child is at school and Niche.com has ranked tens of thousands of public high school cafeterias in the United States to determine, which ones are the best.

Niche.com also did a statewide ranking. Nationally, Connecticut had four public high schools crack the top 100 list.

Drumroll please, the top 5 public high school cafeterias in the United States are: William T. McFatter Technical Center in Florida, Itineris Early College High School in Utah, Cambridge Rindge and Latin School in Massachusetts, Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Illinois, and High Tech High School in New Jersey.

Connecticut schools that cracked the top 100 were New Canaan High School at No. 22 nationally, Weston High School, No. 86, Coginchaug Regional High School in Durham, No. 92, and Staples High School in Westport, No. 94.

In the state rankings, Southington High School came in at No. 54.
