Tractor-Trailer, Vehicle Crash Cleared On I-84 In Southington: UPDATE

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A two-vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailer in Southington caused traffic slowdowns on Interstate 84 Thursday afternoon, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

According to the DOT, the wreck was on I-84 West between exits 32 and 31, resulting in the closure of the right shoulder.

The incident was first reported at 1:20 p.m. and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
