Tractor Trailer Wreck In Southington Cleared: Update

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A two-vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer caused traffic headaches Thursday morning on Interstate 84, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now reported cleared.

DOT officials said a tractor trailer and another vehicle collided on I-84 eastbound between exits 28 and 30.

As a result, the right shoulder was reported closed, according to the DOT.

The DOT said the accident was reported at 7:30 a.m. and it was reported cleared by the state at 10:42 a.m.
