Truck, Car Collide In Wrong Way Crash In Southington
A serious crash closed part of a highway in Southington Wednesday.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — A serious crash on Interstate 691 closed a section of the highway well into the nighttime hours, authorities said.
The state Department of Transportation said the crash occurred at 5:29 p.m. near Exit 4 on the eastbound section of the highway.
A tractor-trailer and a car collided, DOT officials said.

State police said the crash involved a wrong-way driver.
