Two-Vehicle Crash Cleared In Southington: Update

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Traffic on a stormy Tuesday morning was snarled on Interstate 691 in Southington after at tw0-vehicle accident, according to the state Department of Transportation, but the crash has now been cleared.

The DOT reported I-691 west was impacted by a crash between exits 4 and 3, resulting in multiple lane closures.

The accident was reported at 10:57 a.m. and the DOT reported it cleared by 11:50 a.m.
