Two-Vehicle Crash In Southington Cleared: UPDATE

The accident resulted in two lanes of the highway being shut down.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A two-vehicle crash on a rain-slickened Interstate 84 caused traffic problems for morning commuters, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports the accident was on I-84 eastbound between exits 32 and 33, resulting in the left and center lanes being closed.

The accident was first reported at 7:55 a.m. and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report list.
