Vehicle Blaze In Southington Cleared: UPDATE

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A vehicle fire on Interstate 84 in Southington had slowed traffic Wednesday morning, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports the fire being on I-84 west between exits 28 and 26.

As a result of the incident, the right shoulder was closed.

The incident was reported at 6:05 a.m. and it is now no longer on the DOT's active incident list.
