Update: Vehicle Fire Cleared In Southington
Interstate 84 was down to only one lane in that area.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — A vehicle fire on Interstate 84 in Southington snarled traffic Tuesday morning, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it has since been cleared.
According to the DOT, the fire happened on I-84 west between exits 29 and 27, with only one lane reported open there.
The incident was first reported by the DOT at 8:08 a.m. and it was reported as "cleared" at 8:56 a.m.
