Woman Reportedly Tried to Lure 2 Southington Boys

Southington Police say they are searching for a woman who reportedly followed two boys as they walked near Deckert Drive and Silo Drive Sunday evening.

It was about 7:15 p.m. when police received a report of a suspicious woman got out of a BMW and walked towards the children, telling them to “come here” and not to “be afraid,” according to WTIC.

The children instead walked to a friend’s house. Police could not locate the woman during a search of the area.
