Update: I-84 Crash In Southington Cleared, DOT Says

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 84 in Southington Tuesday morning caused motorists a few headaches, according to the state Department of Transportation, but the crash has now been cleared.

DOT officials said the crash happened in the westbound side of the highway between exits 31 and 30.

As a result of the accident, which was reported at 9:31 a.m., the right lane was closed, DOT officials said.

As of 10:17 a.m., the DOT via Twitter reported the accident was cleared.
