SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A pair of teenagers were arrested early Wednesday morning in connection with several car burglaries, and they eventually admitted to being responsible for an additional dozen similar burglaries in the area, according to police.

Around 3 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Ellington Road for a complaint in which a suspect had been seen going through the owner's vehicle. Upon arrival in the area, officers located a vehicle with the dome light on, unlocked, which had just been gone through, Sgt. Mark Cleverdon said.

Officers continued to check the surrounding area, and located additional involved vehicles. The search area moved to the east side of town to the Avery Street area, where police located two juvenile suspects in the 700 block of Avery Street around 4 a.m., Cleverdon said.
