• Sally's Apizza, Benson's Bagels Near Next Steps In South Windsor (patch.com) — South Windsor diners can look forward to two new options as Sally's Apizza prepares to start interior construction at Evergreen Walk and Benson's Bagels moves into its final pre-opening inspections on Sullivan Avenue. Town officials say Benson's has been cleared to bring food into the building, while both restaurants still await final approvals and opening dates for their South Windsor locations.
   

• South Windsor Students Outpace State, But Gaps Remain (patch.com) — South Windsor families are seeing strong academic results, with local students outperforming statewide averages in English, math, science and SAT scores, especially in science growth and 11th-grade performance. District leaders, however, are flagging persistent gaps for Black students and students with disabilities, and are rolling out targeted supports, new reading materials, and more data-driven instruction across South Windsor schools.
