Armed Robbery Suspect Sought By South Windsor Police

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT โ€” An armed person forced members of a cleaning crew at a distribution center on Nutmeg Road South to the ground at gunpoint late Sunday afternoon, then fled with jewels and an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.

The robbery took place around 5:39 p.m. at the Frito-Lay distribution center. No injuries were reported, police said.

Police are actively investigating the incident. No further information was immediately available.
