Big Day for Track and Field Standouts at Randy Smith Invitational

Athletes from South Windsor High School captured three events in the 35th annual track and field meet in Manchester.

MANCHESTER, CT - A number of area athletes had outstanding performances Saturday at the Randy Smith Journal Inquirer Invitational track meet at Manchester High School.

The host school easily cruised to victory in the boys division with 176 points, far outdistancing runnerup Windsor, which had 87.

Competition was much closer in the girls division, where Windsor compiled 119 points to edge Tolland, which had 110.
