SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A driver was charged after a "filmed" police chase in South Windsor early Sunday morning, according to a report.

The chase unraveled at 12:26 a.m. Sunday after South Windsor police revied a "suspicious circumstances" complaint involving a silver Honda Accord operating erratically without its headlights on in the area of Buckland Road and Sullivan Avenue, according to a report. Callers said there was a woman screaming from the vehicle, police added.

The driver refused to stop after officers in two separate cruisers activated their lights and sirens, a report indicates. Officers kept attempting to stop the vehicle, which eventually pulled into the Calvary Church Parking Lot at 240 Deming St., according to a report.

Ramos said the three were at Dave and Buster’s in Manchester and he thought he was being followed by a police officer leaving the parking lot, a report says.

Ramos indicated he had no license and "did not want to get in trouble," so he sped away.

The women said they were yelling and screaming because they were "having fun driving fast" and "filming it" with their phones.

Ramos was charged with reckless driving, engaging police in a pursuit, driving without a license and interfering, according to a report.
