Car Slams into Bank in South Windsor

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A bank branch is South Windsor showed how secure it was on Wednesday morning.

Police said they responded to the United Bank facility on on Ellington Road when a driver mistakenly pulled forward and struck the building.

There were no injuries and the bank building did not sustain any significant damage, police said.

The South Windsor Building Department was at the scene inspecting the structure, police said. The car was towed away, police said.
