Case Of Bro-Blame In South Windsor Leads To Impersonation Charge
A man is in hot water for trying to put the blame on his brother in a South Windsor theft case, police said.

SOUTH WINDSOR — A man who tried to push the blame onto his brother in a South Windsor retail theft case has been charged with criminal impersonation, police said.
Luis Angel Perez, 37, was arrested Friday in connection with theft in April at Plato's Closet in South Windsor, police said.
The caper carried just a sixth-degree larceny charge, but, while being questioned, Perez told police he was his brother and the impersonation charge was added, a report indicates.

Perez was initially held on a $35,000 surety bond. He was still is custody awaiting several court dates in several cases, according to judicial system records.
