Connecticut Ranked Second-Best State for Working Dads
The personal-finance website WalletHub recently conducted an in-depth analysis of the best and worst states for working dads.

Among the 50 states and the District of Columbia, Connecticut ranked second overall with a score of 69.75, just behind top-ranked Minnesota's 70.20.
Among the categories analyzed by the study, here is how Connecticut ranked:

- 2nd – Male Life Expectancy at Birth

- 7th – Male Uninsured Rate
- 17th – Mean Hours Worked per Day Among Males
- 16th – Mortality Rate due to Heart Disease per 100,000 Men
- 6th – % of Men Who Report Adequate or Any Physical Activity
- 14th – Average Freshman Graduation Rate for Men
- 2nd – “Parental Leave Policy” Score
- 6th – Access to Pediatric Services
The state ranked third in Work-Life Balance and Health, eight in Child Care and 13th in Economic and Social Well-Being.
