Join in our Fall Festival Activities by participating in our inaugural Greater Hartford Corn Toss Championship. Corn Toss is a lawn game in which players take turns throwing bags of corn at a raised platform with a hole in the far end. This single day tournament is limited to 36 teams of two and consists of a round robin tournament of play followed by single elimination playoff bracket.
Corn Toss is similar to horseshoes except you use wooden boxes called corn toss platforms and corn bags instead of horseshoes and metal stakes. Contestants take turns pitching their corn bags at the corn toss platform until a contestant reaches the score of 21 points. A corn bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the platform scores 1 point.
