South Windsor's Down To Earth Garden Club will meet on Wednesday, November 12 at 7 p.m. at the Avery Street Christian Reformed Church.
The South Windsor Down To Earth Garden Club will meet on Wednesday, November 12 at 7 p.m. at the Avery Street Christian Reformed Church. Dr. Richard Benfield will speak on “The Great Botanical Gardens of the World”. Dr. Benfield, a professor at CCSU, will trace the importance of botanic gardens through five centuries and five millennia, culminating with a discussion of the importance of today’s most iconic gardens for conservation and tourism.
