DWI Arrest in South Windsor

The incident occurred Saturday at about 6:30 p.m.

South Windsor resident Dean Bissonnette, 57, of St. Marc Circle, was arrested Saturday on charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol and Failure to Drive in Proper Lane, according to police.

The incident occurred at about 6:30 p.m. when a South Windsor Police officer stopped Bissonnette on Rt. 5 for not driving in the proper lane. 

While speaking to Bissonnette, the officer suspected he was under the influence of alcohol, and following a series of failing roadside sobriety tests the officer arrested him.

Bissonnette was booked and later released on $2,500.00 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on November 30.
