This program is designed for youth who are interested in becoming a lifeguard one day. Junior Lifeguarding provides a foundation of aquatic and leadership knowledge, attitudes and skills for future successful completion of the Red Cross Lifeguarding courses. Participants will learn many lifeguarding skills, but this does not certify them to perform those skills. This course is a stepping stone for youth who are not old enough to become a certified lifeguard.
