The South Windsor Historical Society launches its new weekly farmers’ market July 8 at its Union District School property at 771 Main St. Area farmers and artisans offer their products 10 a.m.-2 p.m.every week through Oct. 14, rain or shine. Most of the popular participants from previous years will return, joined by some new vendors. For more information, call market master Mary Busky at (860) 528-3717 or visit www.southwindsorhistory.org.
Proceeds from the market will be used to fund the renovation of the century-old school as a community history and cultural arts center.
