In this two-session workshop, we'll focus on writing about our lives in general, and our school days in particular. Come and learn tips on how to give writing life to a particular memory or two. The sessions will include exercises in writing from visual “prompts,” as well as suggestions on how to plan and write your story.
David Garnes, facilitator, is a writer and retired teacher and librarian. A resident of Manchester, he has led many local literature and writing workshops. He is the author of three books, including a volume of poetry, a book of memoir essays, and the forthcoming World War II novel, Waitin' For The Train To Come In.
