The First Congregational Church of South Windsor, United Church of Christ, located at 993 “Old” Main Street, invites you to join in upcoming Advent and Christmas worship services. All are welcome, no matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey.
In anticipation of the celebration of the Christ child’s birth, Advent observances begin Sunday, December 2nd and successive Sundays of December 9th, (Intergenerational Nativity Tableau), 16th (Debbie Vinick, Guest Harpist), and 23rd, all at 10:00 a.m.
December 13th at 7:00 p.m., come share in a ‘Quiet Christmas’ experience. Catch your breath and listen for the voice of God during this season of conflicting emotions. We may not be feeling joyful at all because of a date on the calendar! What that date does do is to tell us that God-is-with-us, Emmanuel, through our trials and joys, always.
Our Christmas Eve Candlelight service will be held on Monday, December 24th at 11:00 p.m. Hear and sing the carols proclaiming the birth of Christ. Bring your hearts and voices as we join the angels in a holy host of heavenly hallelujahs!
