Food Drive to be Held Saturday in South Windsor

TRIAD members, Masons and emergency services personnel will be at both Geissler's and Stop & Shop.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — South Windsor Community Center TRIAD, along with the Ambulance Service of Manchester and members of the Hartford Evergreen Lodge #88 of Freemasons, will host a Food Drive at both Geissler’s Supermarket, 965 Sullivan Avenue, and Stop & Shop, 1179 Ellington Road, on Saturday, June 10.

The TRIAD members, Masons and Emergency services personnel will be at both Geissler’s and Stop & Shop receiving food and cash donations from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The food bank is running low on items for families in need. This event benefits the South Windsor Food Bank and local families.

TRIAD is a national community policing initiative wherein law enforcement professionals, seniors, and community groups partner to meet the crime-safety needs of seniors. The three groups in CT are law enforcers, seniors, and private entities. These groups come together to prevent victimization of older adults. Health and safety programs are also established under the TRIAD programs.
