Heritage Day and Walking for Our Future Approaching
Joint events hosted by South Windsor Public Education Fund and the South Windsor Historical Society will be Oct. 4 and 5.

The South Windsor Public Education Fund and the South Windsor Historical Society are very pleased to announce their inaugural family Heritage Day and Walking for our Future, held on Saturday, October 5, 2013.
The walk will march along Main Street from Union District School and goes to Ferry Lane and back - or any distance to suit your family’s comfort level. Each family unit will be able to register online at www.ezevent.com/swpefwalk or forms are available at www.swfoundation.org.
The SW Historical Society will be providing their annual Heritage Day with demonstrations of historic crafts and reasonably priced food items along Ferry Lane and Main Street.
All Walk-a-thon proceeds will benefit South Windsor Schools by providing grants for innovative projects transporting South Windsor heritage of excellent education into the future.
Prizes to be awarded for levels of fundraising and heritage costumes.
