Chef Jeffrey Yoskowitz, a renowned Brooklyn, NY author, educator and entrepreneur, came to Temple Beth Hillel in South Windsor with his fascinating presentation, “Back to the Old Country: The Jewish Food Renaissance.”

The community-wide program was presented by the Sisterhood of Temple Beth Hillel, whose members prepared many of the recipes featured in Chef Yoskowitz's cookbook, "The Gefilte Manifesto: New Recipes for Old World Jewish Foods."

Temple Beth Hillel is an inclusive congregation that welcomes interfaith families. Affiliated with the Union of Reform Judaism, the temple holds services in English and Hebrew, has an active religious school, and is involved in social action and social justice.
