South Windsor resident Maria Carvalho, center, visited the fourth grade classes at Wapping Elementary School on 10/25/13 to talk about her recently released book 'Hamster in Space!'. The students asked questions about the writing process and what goes into creating a book. Pictured with the author are the students in Bryan Giansanti's class, including Mrs. Carvalho's son, Camron, who is holding a copy of the book. 'Hamster in Space!' has received excellent reviews and is available on Amazon.
