South Windsor Rabbi and Wife Are Finalist for Game Inventing Award
Game inventor award finalist. Vote for Rabbi Jeff and Mindy Glickman

Rabbi Jeff and Mindy Glickman recently began translating values from their sermons into games. Their games don’t have words, but the strategies involved have the players acting out patience, humility and wonder.
“All games model values,” says Glickman. “People learn while playing.”
Apparently, they are on to something. In the last three years, 9 companies licensed their ideas.

Don’t Be Greedy is one of the most popular items Melissa and Doug manufactures. To win the game, you need to know when enough is. This is based a teaching from Talmud, “If you are happy with what you have, you are wealthy.”
Jeff and Mindy were recently honored by toy and game professionals to be a finalist for the Rising Star Designer Of The Year award. The voting is on-line, and anyone can vote.
