Major South Windsor Road to Have Detours Wednesday
Removal of a large tree necessitates closure of a busy road for a number of hours.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A portion of one of South Windsor's busiest roads will be closed for the majority of the daytime Wednesday, police said.
Pleasant Valley Road will be closed at #870, directly across from Lefoll Boulevard, between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. while the town’s contractor removes a large tree.
A detour will be in place as follows:

- All traffic on Pleasant Valley Rd. will be detoured onto Northview Dr. to Tudor Hill Rd.
- All traffic on Lefoll Blvd. will be detoured to Jacques Ln., to Margaret Dr., to Clark St., to Pleasant Valley Rd.
