Man, 79, Struck by Vehicle in Parking Lot: South Windsor Police

South Windsor Police are seeking witnesses to the accident in which the man suffered a head laceration on Wednesday morning.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — South Windsor Police are looking for witnesses to an accident in which a 79-year-old man was knocked over by a vehicle and suffered a head laceration this morning.

South Windsor Police officers were dispatched to an injured person lying at roadside in the Berry Patch apartment’s driveway near Felt Road at about 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday.

This area is adjacent to Oakland Road and is behind the former Oakland Road gas station and a business plaza.

The man told officers that he had been knocked over by a gray or silver sedan operated by a woman. He refused medical attention and returned home.

Police are looking for witnesses to the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact Traffic Unit Corporal Stephen Hoover at 860-644-2551.
