Man Breaks Into Car, Steals Tools at Lowe's: Police

A Windsor man faces charges after police say he stole tools from a car at Lowe’s in South Windsor.

Larry Havey, 55, of 1075 Poquonock Avenue, was arrested Dec. 15 on a warrant and charged with third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny.

South Windsor Police said Havey’s charges stem from an incident at Lowe’s this past October. A citizen reported seeing a man, later identified as Havey, enter a customer’s vehicle and remove tools.

Officers later identified Havey as the suspect and an arrest warrant was obtained.

Havey was held at court for arraignment later on Tuesday morning.
