Man Charged with Assaulting Woman in South Windsor
Police say the woman suffered a broken collarbone after being thrown to the ground in a domestic dispute.

South Windsor Police have charged a Massachusetts man with assaulting a woman in a domestic dispute in which she broke her collarbone after being thrown to the ground, according to police.
Alexander Bonilla, 28, of 15 Amanda Street, Springfield, Mass. on an arrest warrant on Monday, Feb. 22. He was charged with second-degree assault.
Police said Bonilla’s charge stems from a November 2015 domestic violence assault investigation.

Officers learned that Bonilla had thrown the adult female victim to the ground, causing her to break her collarbone, according to police.
The victim obtained medical care but did not notify the police until officers were completing a questionnaire in an unrelated domestic incident.

The victim then reported the assault after the fact and investigators were able to obtain an arrest warrant for Bonilla, which was served Monday morning.
Bonilla was held on a $30,000 surety bond. He was scheduled to be presented at Manchester Superior Court on Monday morning.
