Man Charged in Connection with Road Rage Incident in South Windsor
A three-vehicle crash in December was initially reported as an accident, but investigation revealed there was more to the story.

A Massachusetts man was arrested on a warrant for a “road rage” type incident in South Windsor last December.
Police said Benjamin Clickner, 28, returned to Connecticut to surrender himself on Wednesday.
Clickner, of 241 Mendon Street in Uxbridge, Mass., was arrested on charges of first-degree reckless endangerment, reckless driving, speeding, failure to drive a reasonable distance apart and improper passing.

Police said the charges stem from a December 2014 motor vehicle crash on Oakland Road near Felt Road.
The incident was initially reported as a motor vehicle accident, however, the investigation revealed that two vehicles had been in a “road rage” type incident with each other, and Clickner’s car was being rammed by the other vehicle from behind. This caused an accident involving a third motorist, according to police.

The investigating officers from the Traffic Unit later obtained an arrest warrant for Clickner.
Clickner was later released on a $50,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on July 9.
