Man Charged with DUI in South Windsor
The 51-year-old man was involved in a motor vehicle accident on Thursday.
A Coventry man faces DUI charges after being involved in a minor motor vehicle accident on Sullivan Avenue.
South Windsor Police responded to the accident in the 1300 block of Sullivan Avenue around 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 10.
The investigating officer suspected that the operator was under the influence of alcohol.

Following a series of roadside sobriety tests, officers arrested the man, Charles Hoxie, 51, of 722 Dunn Road, Coventry. He was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and failure to drive a reasonable distance apart.
Hoxie was later released on a $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Jan. 4, 2016.
