Man Intentionally Drives Into Utility Pole, Gets Knocked Out by Passenger: South Windsor Police
Police say the man allegedly drove his car into the utility pole while arguing with his passengers and was then assaulted by a passenger.

A Manchester man is accused of intentionally driving his car into a utility pole while arguing with his passengers and was then knocked out by one of the passengers who assaulted him, according to South Windsor Police.
Police arrested Carlos Hernandez, 30, on a warrant Tuesday for the incident that occurred in April.
Police say Hernandez intentionally drove his car into a Buckland Road utility pole and was taken to a local hospital for evaluation of injuries after he was knocked out by the passenger. Officers later obtained an arrest warrant for him.

Hernandez, 30, of 75 East Middle Turnpike, Manchester, was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, reckless driving, failure to have insurance, operating a vehicle without a license and failure to drive in proper lane.
Hernandez was held on a $100,000 surety bond and was scheduled to be presented at Manchester Superior Court on Wednesday.
